Based in Joliet, IL, 167 Counseling Services is a family-owned therapy and counseling practice specializing in trauma and adjustment. We provide expert support tailored for first responders, trauma survivors, and those carrying heavy emotional weight. We walk alongside our clients with a calm, commanding, and compassionate approach to healing.

Our name reflects our core philosophy: there are 168 hours in a week, and only one is spent in session. Our mission is to provide the professional expertise and resilience-building tools you need to navigate the other 167 hours with strength and clarity.

Owner, Therapist
Michael Liacone, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He brings with him a diverse history including many years of experience as a firefighter/paramedic, various blue-collar jobs, and over a decade of experience as a college educator.

Jennifer has over a decade of experience in the field, working with diverse populations. She has experience working as a sexual assault counselor and outpatient intake/assessment specialist in a community mental health setting.
